how about a "Virtual Machine" forum? :-)

This is a discussion on how about a "Virtual Machine" forum? :-) within the Comments & Announcements forums, part of the Tech Support Forum category. I use VMWare and Virtualbox, and would enjoy seeing a Virtual Machine forum, any plans for this? :-)

You can post in the OS section that your VM is running. So if you have a Windows 7 VM, post in the Windows 7 area.

OS: Windows10. In the past CP/M, DOS, Windows 95, 2000, 98SE, ME, Vista & Windows 7

VMs get mentioned in most of the Microsoft forums from time to time. I don't know if there's enough general interest for this. A disappointment seems to be that the XP simulation in Windows7 & 8 is missing in Windows10.

But the VM platform itself could use one :-) VMWare Fusion, VMWare ESXi, Virtualbox, HyperV... Would like to see a forum devoted to making the platform work, or help using it :-)

The problem with it has been pointed out, it does not come up often enough to warrant a forum of it's own, most times when it does come up it is a networking issue.
