Wow! That's some distance covered in just 12 years - Have you had it from new, or was it 'part-way' there when you got the vehicle?

I just wish the fuel-prices were what they were, back in '98 - I might have a chance of catching up a bit, then

Yep, within 10 miles of me the average is 1.15 per litre, which translates to US$9.96 per US-gallon....

Approx 85% of the price is tax, then when it's sold at the pumps, [email protected]% is added. Our VAT is increasing to 20% next year, so I expect we'll be seeing prices around the 1.20-1.25/litre mark

SABL- At least I wasn't texting!!! I was on WB I-270 at about 7AM, between US-23 and OH-315.

I got the car in 2002 and it had about 80,000 miles on it. By comparison, my 2008 Chrysler Town and Country has 19,000. I have driven that car all over Ohio and KY, IN, and MI. I have even hit a deer with only the smallest of dent sin the hood. We had to overhaul the engine shortly after I got it, and the clutch plate needed replaced. There is also a little plastic button the holds a gear rod on the bottom of the shifter that I just replaced. I have replaced the battery once, the brakes once, the tires twice and the oil every 3,000 miles!

I let the kids wash and wax it since it is practically worthless to anyone and they won't hurt the value of it; it is priceless to me.

That's a beauty of living in America, I couldn't even drive 1/4 way across your smallest State, without falling off the edge of the UK - Then again though, it's handy if I feel like visiting the sea-side

@Bry

That is one brutal stretch of interstate.....I know it well!! I don't think you could have picked a worse section of 270.......hope you wasn't planning on making an exit!! Don't they replace the guardrails every other week on that section??...
