I have a Mac Book Air running OS El Capitan and in updates today was one to update to OS Sierra. I don't use the Mac book much but is it worth doing this update or anything to be wary about. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

My System

My suggestion is if you are Running El Capitan... there is no reason not to run Sierra.

It doesn't have any performance tax that I have noticed. If there are any applications you can't "live without"... I would check with their developers to confirm support.

Many thanks for those thoughts I will have a think about it for a day or so and then make the big decision. I don't use many Apps, just mainly general stuff like emails news etc and downloading photographs from the camera.
Again thanks for your time.
