I have a desk top Mac, operating system OS X Yosemite, version 10.10.2.
Somehow I unintentionally removed the document icon from the dashboard and I can't seem to get it back on the dashboard.

Can someone tell me how to do this?
Thanks!

ok thats easy. You just find the "Documents" folder in the Finder app... and drag it on to the Dock. It has to go right to the left of the Recycle Bin. Between the Bin and the Line that separates the Bin from the Apps.

OS-X will recognize it is the documents folder and set it up appropriately.

Ok, that was too easy. I swear I've tried it before and it didn't work.
Thank you for your help!
