So I have no knowledge about PC gaming other than very basics (I know what Ram is and other basics.) and I have no DIY skills so I wouldn't be confident building my own PC. I saw this cheap Rig available on several sites but cheapest on eBay. The link is hereGalaxy 3 AMD FX Quad Core 3.6Ghz Desktop Gaming PC 500gb 4gb DDR3 ATI 6450 1gb | eBay. I was just wondering which parts of this would I need to upgrade and which would be good enough for modern gaming? If this is way off can anyone direct me to something more realistic. I know it is cheap but I hope it is a reasonable base. thanks in advance.

You never want to buy a computer off of ebay. Shipping would be a TON, and there is nothing stopping the seller from putting faulty parts in

If you want a cheap rig, get barebones off of newegg, but be very careful in what you buy, as barebones are often low quality (especially if they include a power supply)

I can buy the same one off other sites, and shipping from this seller is free. I was wondering wether it was a decent base and which parts would need to be upgraded. Play.com has the same computer for £300.

You just better hope that PC is shipped taken apart and bubblewrapped.

I can't even move my computer from place to place without worrying about breaking something.

eBay is always shady, Newegg has some unbeatable prices.
