websites doesnot opean at first go ....

whenever I click on any link/type a url the web page does not load instead I see DNS error message but on refreshing the same page it the site opens easily but never on first go , there is always a problem.
I have a win xp media center 2002 with sp 3 and kespersky internet security 8.0.0.454

try another browser to see if its a browser problem or something else.
