Hi folks, (I hope this is the correct place to post this)

(Background) I've used FF for years and was using ver 65, 64bit, on Win 10, latest build and up to date. Occasionally, my Malwarebytes, flags and stops an outbound (call home) "something" that emanates from my "C drive".....See below:

Usually I run scans and one of those programs, like "Rogue Killer" etc, takes care of it. This time it didn't and my "mess up" begins.
I went to " C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" and could not find anything (I probably wouldn't know what I was looking for anyway).

First I deleted the FF.exe file, which looked like another short cut. I thought that wouldn't do much harm.
Second Of course, FF would not open,

So Third I uninstalled FF, using Revo Uninstaller

Fourth I downloaded and installed FF.

Of course, by then I realized that I would have to reset up FF again, for everything. (Stupid, Stupid) Everything including my "Bookmarks" which were gone.

Please help! Is there a way I can retrieve my "Bookmarks" from somewhere? (Somehow I don't think there is but what do I know?)
I can send any other info you all might need, I'm just hoping someone can help.....

Yours,
Stan

Hi,

Please follow the instructions here > NEW INSTRUCTIONS - Read This Before Posting For Malware Removal Help - Tech Support Forum

Follow the instructions carefully and if you have any problems with them, let the analyst know in your thread.

Post your logs as per the instructions in the Virus/Trojan/Spyware Help forum........not here.

Be advised that this part of the forum is usually very busy so some patience will be required but someone will be along to assist you when they can.

If you have no response within 72 hours, you may reply to your own thread with 'Bump please', this will result in your thread moving to the top of the forum making it more visible.

Good luck.
