Hello friends, nice to see you all again, well not really as I have another issue.

I'm trying to run a certain game on my PC, it seems as if my CPU is having some trouble. I have tried turning Speedstepping off as well as turboboost which do not seem to make a difference. Keep in mind my friend has the same build as me and he does not have this issue.

I am attempting to Run Rainbow Six Siege a PC Game. Keep in mind I can run all up to date games no issues, but this one causes major trouble. I have attempted all video settings as well.

Rainbow Six Siege while playing takes up 99% CPU usage and causes my game to lag to the point where it is unplayable. I feel as if I am all out of options.

My system specs:
  • Latest Windows 10 updates
  • Intel i5-6500
  • m150 mortar motherboard (MSI)
  • 1060 Geforce GTX 6GB
  • 16GB RAM
  • Updated to latest bios
What can I try?

well you can try closing some background apps on startup, windows key + x open task manager, click on the startup tab disable any items that you are not using.

what psu unit are you using?

https://www.systemrequirementslab.co...ege-beta/12864

check this link see what specs you have to run the game.

check for newer drivers for the graphics card.

in bios check that pci express is selected not onboard graphics. as the cpu has built gpu.

also do a virus scan.

free download.

My Rainbow 6 Siege also requires a lot of RAM and CPU usage, however, I do not get any lag.

Did you attempt to reinstall the game?

Yes, I have also reformatted just incase it was an issue with Windows. No matter what happens. R6S will take up as much CPU as it possibly can 90-99%.

Ya, also just tried reformatting to Windows 7. No dice. It's an issue with these current CPU's and Rainbow Six.

Guess I just won't play for now.
