My Wildblue/Excede email came up with, without any input from me, “Ruth Lee” as the sender name when I send email. This confuses recipients. Their tech support have not been helpful. Short of a name or maybe a gender change, is there a fix for this? Thanks.

On your initial setup there is an option to choose the user name. Hopefully you won't have to create a new account in order to achieve that.

Just to be clear, are we talking about using the webmail interface for the account, or an email client like Outlook or Thunderbird for that account?

There is always, in my experience, a way to change the name that comes prior to an email address in either a webmail or email client, but I don't know what Wildblue/Excede uses for webmail.
