I had been trying to create my own Trillian emote pack. I think I'm missing something that has to be done but don't know what. I played with and figured out the xml file, but nothing shows up to change the pack when I go into preferences.
Anyone ever done this?

in the xml file it has:
<bitmap name="bmpTAE-16" file="../../stixe/plugins/tp21emoticons-16x16/emoticons.png"/>

The top section seems to be corresponding to a drop down list that you can select emotes in the trillain window. The next list looks like this:
<bitmap name="gifEek" file="../../stixe/plugins/tp21emoticons-16x16/emot-eek.gif"/>

So seems pretty straightforwards to edit. After "name" have "gifsomename" of what I want to call the emote, then after "file" the document path to it. The next section:
<emoticon text= ":-)" button="yes"><source name= "bmpTAE-16" left=" 0" right=" 16" top=" 0" bottom=" 16"/></emoticon>
<emoticon text= ":)"><source name= "bmpTAE-16" left=" 0" right=" 16" top=" 0" bottom=" 16"/></emoticon>
<emoticon text= "=)"><source name= "bmpTAE-16" left=" 0" right=" 16" top=" 0" bottom=" 16"/></emoticon>

It appears to be setting the activation text and the area and calling the image from the first section and setting boundaries for each emote, the left/right/top/bottom pixels. Mine were 50x50 px in size so I set them accordingly.
This is the information I have so far. Hope someone out there can provide some help.

My computer is pinging without me
So I've been noticing problems within the last couple of weeks. Twice now my hosting company has blocked my IP saying that I'm accessing their site numerous times within seconds. The first time I thought it was b/c I pressed on "get mail" several times in a row, but today they said it happened...
