While watching Netflix on chrome browser, I get a white screen and a notice that it is unsafe. How do I stop this? I am unable to continue watching my program.

One of your numerous (we've warned you about this) extensions on Chrome is causing this. We've told you before how to disable or delete an extension. I'm re-emphasizing previous given advice to stop downloading every app in creation. This will be my last post in this thread.

A quick way to remove extensions is to download ADWCleaner from Malwarebytes. run it and delete anything it comes up with. Follow it up with a full scan with Malwarebytes, Quarantine anything it comes up with.

I will note, though, that even legitimate extensions of the "security type" (e.g. AdBlock Plus, which does more than block ads) can trigger these warnings on occasion.

It's most common when a website does "under the hood redirection" which, in reality, is perfectly legitimate and safe but where what you've entered as a URL and what shows up as the certificate ID of where you're being redirected to don't match.

I just had this happen the other night on the Speccy Snapshot site, and got some bizarre message about clocks not matching. Since I knew that what I was trying to access was, without question, something I've accessed many times before I just chose to continue. There are times when "safety checkers" can be wrong, but it is very wise to not cavalierly ignore their warnings and just proceed. But there are times when you can safely proceed.
