I have 4 PCs on my home network. Two of them are Cat5 wired and two of them are connected by WiFi.

When I open Network from my main computer, all of the other shares are seen but the computer I am using does not appear. All of the network shares appear correctly from each of the other 3 computers.

The network configuration is identical for all 4 computer.

My main computer is a very recent build:
Windows 10 home 64
AMD Ryzen 5 CPU
ASRock B45o Pro4 MOBO
Crucial P1 1TB NVMe PCIe
AMC Radeon RX 5700 GPU
16 GB DDR4 DRAM
EVGA 650 B5 PSU

The Network Icon is not always successful accessing network shares.
Try pressing the Windows key+R. In the Run Box, type the computer name (ie) \\ComputerName, or it's ip address (ie) \\198.162.1.253 to access the share. After you do that a couple of times, they show up under Network.

Thank you. I tried it and it seems to work. Problem solved!
