As someone who makes heavy use of screen recording, having the "Stereo Mix" recording option is very important for me. However, I have a Lenovo ThinkCentre with Windows 10 installed, and as some might know, "Stereo Mix" has been removed from Lenovo devices for years. It is not able to be enabled, as it can't be found in the sound devices list, period.
, in the past, I have been able to get it back by installing an old Realtek driver
. The solution worked perfectly.
Problem is, recently my SSD containing my OS fried somehow
, and I had to get a new one and reinstall Windows, and obviously, the driver had to be reinstalled also.
Except, now I can't find it!
that this was where I found the link to the driver
before, but as of now, the link is broken.
One option that does work is Audacity's WASAPI/loopback function (though it's hit or miss), but while I can record audio separately from the video which is fine, it's not going to work for streaming.
If anyone can help me find this driver again, that would be great.
