Just got back from grocery shopping. I was never asked for my ID.....and I even bought alcohol. I can even go one step further.....I used a debit card!! Actually, I made 2 transactions while I was there......and used 2 different debit cards. Not once was I asked for my ID......no matter which grocery store I go to I am never asked for any type of ID even if I buy alcohol with my groceries.

Maybe the FDA should investigate side effects of KFC, Big Macs, and diet Coke.

......I doubt he could pass that test on a curved scale.

Son just called and asked about yesterday's exam.......he knows my sense of humor and I said it could be habit forming.....

Also ended the call by saying he and his wife were going to go get something to eat. I asked where.....then I asked if he was going to have to cook. He said it would probably be his wife doing the cooking. Oh, going to the grocery store?? Yeah. I told him to take his ID......

That's ok, I walked into a bank today to see if they could cash a check.
They took the check, handed me cash. I walked out, got in my truck and realized that they never asked for cash or had me sign the check.

You think? This morning, I stayed in bed while wifey made breakfast, hoping for a bed tray of delicacies when she's done, only to receive a deathly cold touch of her chilly hands on my nicely warm chest and a somewhat stern, "get your a*** outta bed let's go have breakfast."

Last time I was 'carded' at the movies I was 16......didn't get in....

After I got old enough to get in I didn't want to......

Never tried for a senior discount.....last time I went to a theater I was ~40. I have a 'Golden Buckeye' card but never used it......very limited on what it's good for and issued at age 62.

Does anyone pay attention to what our CiC says?? Where does he get his info/ideas from?? If his 'base' believes what he says, this country is in deep trouble.......

You have to admire the way he never lets common sense interfere with his judgement.

A picture card to buy groceries! That's a new one on me. I was carded at a convenience store last year. I was 61 at the time. I can understand that many cannot recognize the difference between teens and 20's. Teens and 60's should be really obvious.

8-Core AMD, a little disappointed
Hello all! I just have a quick question about the new AMD FX 8-core processors. I'm hosting a DNSBL (DNS Blacklist) server and for a server I'm finding the CPU more than adequate. It runs all of the server processors ok, but for normal desktop stuff it just feels a little slow. I'm comparing it...
