In the race with Florida for the bottom of the political barrel, this news from the great state of Texas makes it nearly a run-away. What's Florida gonna do to recover?

Ol' Greg must have his eye on 2020, when the party will be scraping the bottom of the barrels to find a sacrificial lamb to oppose Hillary's second term

I am so glad I washed my hands of the GOP . . there was a time where "They do it too" was never a acceptable rational for behaving poorly . . that time has clearly passed

Hey, Hillary - Can you say "Abuela" or maybe "Kwanzaa".....

Pandering at it best! Fortunately it is backfiring abysmally.

I still have extended family in NJ, FL, NC and yes, even TX!! Just because I abandoned ship before the Marxist police state agenda took over doesn't mean I still am not intensely concerned for my family who still have to suffer under it!

I didn't say it was acceptable... just that it was pandering... but to criticize one while ignoring the other because you follow one party over the other is where hypocrites are born.

Ah Texas...

Almost every top official in a remote South Texas city was arrested Thursday under a detailed federal indictment that accuses them of taking bribes from contractors and sending city workers to help an illegal gambling operator nicknamed "Mr. T.

I read that this morning........

No wonder the city is $2 million in debt and facing bankruptcy:

Quote:
The San Antonio Express-News reported that Jonas, a “one-time Republican lobbyist down on his luck,” was paid about $180,000 a year after being hired without ever having worked as a city attorney or even applying for the job.
**The above quote is not found in yustr's link.....Fox News being the source I can see why.

FBI arrests nearly all of the top officials of Crystal City, Tex.

PennTraffic did the same thing with Big Bear Stores (in my area) by paying their cronies huge salaries for mismanagement and thereby bankrupting that branch of their business empire.

Continental Baking was another good one......

We now take you back to the Great State of Texas:

With as many outspoken patriots that Texas has, why are they #46 when it comes to voter participation??

States With the Highest (and Lowest) Voter Turnout
