Praise Allah and the Texas Legislature the new Tiny "Appendage" Law goes into effect at Midnite tonite. Those so afflicted will be able to carry a weapon in the open, thus announcing their condition to the general public.

"We've changed things here a lot and we've not thought this through," said Charley Wilkison, executive director of the Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas, the state's largest law enforcement officers' union.

I never understood the anti-gun's crowd fascination of the male genitalia...

I don't think it is fair to characterize the Texas Legislators of being anti-gun . . They were elected to serve the voters and the voters seemed to need some compensation for their "affliction" . . after all, traditional wisdom is that everything is bigger in Texas!

TPCL was probably the best they could do under the circumstances.

More than half the states allow open carry. I've never seen anyone with a holstered handgun walking around, that wasn't a cop.

Yeah, looks like it will not be much help for the afflicted . . Businesses are opting out in droves. Hell of a money-maker for the sign makers.

That's the kind of stuff I figure will happen......I'd rather conceal. May as well walk around with a wad of cash sticking out of your pocket......they know you've got it and will 'get the drop' on you if they can.

Nice story but it's from Oct '14. There are probably many more cases where people are robbed of their guns.......but, it's part of their lifestyle and they'll just get another one on the black market.
