Fox's Karl Rove Reportedly Claims Hillary Clinton Has Brain Damage | Blog | Media Matters for America

This is just one of many sites I could have chosen but grabbed the first one......no idea if the source leans to either side but a lie is a lie. How many more lies do the Conservatives expect the American people to believe??

So far, the Conservatives have shown me nothing in regard to the welfare of our country......welfare meaning the well being of the US people. They are controlled by special interest groups who have their interest in mind while ignoring the people who make up our nation.

"I have a health-care plan that will save families $2500 on their premiums"

Have any windmills to tilt at that are newer than a campaign promise made in 2008?
But back on topic please. When even the Murdock owned NY Post is saying Rove missed the mark you can bet he missed it big time.

It's politics as usual. Nothing more.

If anyone wants to go toe to toe with lies and hype from the left...I can probably keep them busy reading for a few days.

Nothing more than muckraking at it's finest. There's a difference between hype and outright lies......the Republicans special interest groups want this country in the worst way and will stop at nothing. Lies are one tactic......pouring money into campaigns is another. IMO the Tea Party is owned by those with money and are willing to turn our Democracy over to corporatism. Enjoy living in an aristocracy.......and you think the TP is on your side......

Seems like Rover was doing what puppet masters do................ PULL STRINGS.

Here is the link from page 6 Karl Rove: Hillary may have brain damage | Page Six

Quote:
“Thirty days in the hospital?” Rove reportedly told the conference, according to the Post. “And when she reappears, she’s wearing glasses that are only for people who have traumatic brain injury? We need to know what’s up with that.”
The comeback in the "story" is It was 3 days in the hospital not 30"

I posted and supplied a link to where the R's, let alone, the Koch brothers come in place as far as political contributions. The Koch's were 57th. I think unions took up the first 12 spots.
For anyone thinking that R's are the only ones spending big coin to influence elections....time to vacate the view from beneath the rock.

If the link you supplied is the same as what I just looked at there are several omissions.

Quote:
For example, this list does not include casino magnate Sheldon Adelson. He and his wife Miriam donated nearly $93 million in 2012 alone to conservative super PACs enough to put him at No. 2 on this list. Similarly, the list excludes former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg, who has donated more than $19 million in the past two years, largely to groups that support gun control. Neither Adelson nor Bloomberg or the organizations they report as their employers qualifies as a "heavy hitter" under our current definition. It's also important to note that we aren't including donations to politically active dark money groups, like Americans for Prosperity, a group linked to the Koch brothers, or the liberal group Patriot Majority because these groups hide their donors; see a list of top donors that we've been able to identify to such groups. We are working to revise this list to take into account the new realities of campaign finance created by the Citizens United decision, but as it currently stands, there are significant omissions.
I've got several other lists to look at......you need to read the fine print once in a while. One of the omitted donors was for gun control.....I'll bet the rest were large corporations supporting those who are selling the American people out.

Typical Rovian move . . Like spreading the rumor that John McCaon had an illegitimate black daughter just before a primary election between McCain and Wubbya.

I think Rove should just move on. Open a florist shop or something.

He is clearly trying to become relevant again . . It amazes me that some still give the guy money after the last elections . .

Again, he is a puppet master and is looking for a new puppet. I just hope nobody bites on this.

Once again, we are presented with "facts" from a highly biased conservative source.......but not all facts have been presented. Thanks for the link, Gads.....it led me to the site I was looking at in regard to political contributions. Guess I should reiterate what I had quoted.....
Quote:

Let's see how things stack up......

ActBlue seems to be leading the pack at $107,000,000 but have only been in the game since 2004.....that's pretty impressive!!

Now, let's look at a group that was not included in the list......could it have been founded by our political saint, David Koch?? With a spending target of $125,000,000 for this year only (2014) I would say that all other contributors fall way short.
Quote:
However, it is unclear how much money the brothers funnel directly into AFP and their larger network of libertarian advocacy groups
Americans for Prosperity

Why have the Koch brothers become a rallying point? Honestly, who even cares?
You say Koch, I say Soros.

Let me look up Soros......

Quote:
Soros was not a large donor to US political causes until the 2004 presidential election, but according to the Center for Responsive Politics, during the 20032004 election cycle, Soros donated $23,581,000 to various 527 groups dedicated to defeating President Bush.
From Wiki....George Soros - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The amount sure doesn't come too close to the $125,000,000 pledged by the Koch brother's AFP. Soros just wanted "W" out of office and had no intent on controllong our political process. The 'brothers' are wanting to take control via their Tea Party.

As for Koch brothers.....they stand to make billions from the XL pipeline from what I hear. I'm still looking into that idea and staying away from left wing sources.....everything I'm coming up with is years old.

Yep......quick rough calculation with average over the last 25yrs. I went 50 down the list to include as many unions as I could. I averaged ActBlue (#1 on the list) by the 10 yr existence and not the 25yr span listed in the chart. The average was $41 million a year and far short of the $125 million from Americans For Progress.

What's your point??
