Theresa May has been appointed new Prime Minister by Queen Elizabeth II.

No long drawn out battles in Parliament?? No muck-raking or slinging of dirt/mud?? How does The UK expect to maintain visions of a World Power without all the hoohah of politics??

The muck-raking went on earlier, while the candidates were sorting themselves out.... Boris Johnson and Andrea Leadsom were ganged up on and backstabbed by the rest of the pack...

Our 'Labour' party is still in the process of candidates plucking up enough courage to stand as a replacement for the new leader, aiming to get rid of Jeremy Corbyn

D Cameron originally wanted to resign in October, during the Conservative Party annual pow-wow, but t'other members reckoned the sooner we start the quitting-process the better.

You people seem to have a greater degree of dignity in your politics......or maybe I don't follow as closely as I should. In the US all we have is a circus.....non-stop.

How do you think things will go in regard to making the final break with the EU??

He has been known to behave in a very eccentric manner, there are quite few videos on youtube.

But he is only a harmless buffoon......I think. Trump is outright malicious.....he's also a buffoon but not all that funny. Politically you're in better shape than the US.....I'm not going to enjoy voting in November.

I guess he'll have to behave himself from here on out. I don't mind a few gaffes or a little humour as long as a person can get the job done. Our politicians can get nothing done....and it isn't funny.

I already erased a rant....don't want to repeat it. More along the lines of healthcare, wages, taxes, etc..

All of which we are losing by degrees, I don't condone living of the state when you have not contributed, However when you have paid taxes from your wages then healthcare should not be a whim of the governing party, when you have not made any contribution it needs to be regulated since your draining away something and putting nothing in. The NHS is not free as many believe it's paid for by those who work. It just sounds better when it's promoted as a free service.

Granted, NHS is not free.....but at least you get something in return for your tax monies. Our defense budget alone is 10X greater than the UKs......600 billion to 60 billion.

We could divert some of our budget to healthcare but it's too late. When some of our hospital directors are compensated to the tune of $500,000 a month something is wrong. All along the way, with insurance companies playing their part in making lucrative profits, the healthcare industry has become a monster......a very hungry monster.

Although Boris appears to be a total buffoon, he's a very shrewd man underneath. During his stint as London's Mayor, he did a lot of good for the residents, not just the corporate and smaller business interests.

Personally I reckon he'll be excellent as Foreign Secretary, he's very good at catching folks off-guard to get either good deals or his message across, as well as using humour to coat 'nasty pills to swallow'.

Theresa May has now got her Cabinet Ministers sorted out, all the politicians who voted to leave the EU now have jobs related to that, 'Brexit Secretary', International Trade Minister, International Development Minister etc. - Link

So far, the plan seems to be to start the EU leaving process early next year and use the time 'til then to work out trade-deals with everyone around the globe. That should give the UK a good footing to start dealing with Europe, when the time comes to start haggling.

Meanwhile, for any Americans who aren't inspired to vote either Clinton or Trump, you might soon have a 3rd option - Alice Cooper (Yes, THAT Alice Cooper) is considering running for President with his 'Wild Party'..... His 'motto' being "A Troubled Man for Troubled Times", he's gotta be better than t'other two..... - Link
