"Nothingburger"......that's exactly what the memo is to anyone following what's going on. For those who have no clue it's a feast fit for a king. IMO it's a full course dinner where only the appetizer was served.

Once again, the Republicans are going to rely on shock value to make people believe the Justice Department and FBI have abused their authority. The ones abusing their authority are sitting to the far right of the aisle. To them this is a witch hunt but the Benghazi hearings were valid.....where's the hypocrisy??

I read an article last night and pretty much agree with it.......especially the last paragraph.

Looks like the Dem counter memo will be sent to Trump for approval to release. It seems a case of damned if you do damned if you don't. He releases it and it torpedo's the Nunes memo that he's hung his hat in. Don't release it and prove that he's worried about his collusion. (At least to those of us who can think for ourselves. The Foxnews/Breitbart brainwashed masses will say "see there's nothing there to see".)

Link was no good for me, yustr.......I don't have a subscription for WaPo.

This is what I expected.....could shed some light on Republican propaganda but we won't see the rebuttal unless it is highly redacted.

The thinking ones among us feel (myself at least) that the 'opposition memo' was deliberately populated heavily with the specific details that the national security advisers deemed 'too sensitive' to release in un-redacted form. This so that there WOULD be significant objections to its release, just so these partisan accusations could be made!

I will await further developments to either confirm or refute my suspicions.

"In a letter to the committee, White House counsel Don McGahn said the memo contains "numerous properly classified and especially sensitive passages” and asks the committee to revise it with the help of the Justice Department.

McGahn said Trump is still "inclined" to release the memo in the interest of transparency, if revisions are made."

Here we go. Let's see what additional roadblocks are thrown at this. The Justice Dept. (still heavily populated with 'deep state' partisans) says the memo is too sensitive.

I anxiously await the (Justice Dept.) approved release.

After the childish stone-faced pouting session during the SOTU, my expectations are not very high.
