Republican National Convention starts today......on the north shore of Ohio. I think I'm far enough away from Cleveland to be safe. Maybe what happens outside will be more exciting than inside......I sure hope not. If you don't like the candidate, show it come November......don't take it to the streets.

Anyone going to watch?? Can hardly wait to see the Trump clan......and Scott Baio. Maybe Willie Robertson (Duck Dynasty) will be worth watching......it's a shame I never watched the show when it ran.

I saved them some auto-dial time>>>>>>CLICK

Same goes for any other candidate......I'll just wait to see what ends up in my mail box.

Pretty good opening act...... A few Republicans still want to dump Trump.....and made quite a fuss about it. Most of the big players are opting to stay home....or are working on their own campaigns.

Our esteemed governor, Greg by-God Abbott apparently opted to set hisself on fire to avoid being in the same place as Trump . .

I hear Mrs. Trump had a very moving speech about being a Black female at Harvard law school . .

Many Republicans don't want to be in the same place as Trump.

Changing times......not for the better. Has the American voter been dumbed-down to WWE entrances and other bits of drama?? Has everyone succumbed to 'reality' shows?? They've been airing this type of programming nigh on 20 years......what used to be good solid educational channels is spewing the same inane 'reality' that couldn't be further from the truth. TV has everyone living in a fantasy world.....I only know about these shows from what I catch a glimpse of while the kids sit mesmerized in front of the 'boob tube'. The public has been well primed and are ripe for the picking. Trump is their man but all I've heard is he's gonna be huge.....if it's Trump it's gonna be great. What I haven't heard is "HOW".

As for playing "We are the Champions".....he better get with the LGBT people on that one.

I saw the speech by Mrs Trump. I'll let that one slide..... But when Donald gave her a kiss was something else. I'm very surprised she didn't roll her eyes.....

Forget the LGBT people......he better get with Queen about playing "We are the Champions".

Queen: GOP convention used song "against our wishes"

Maybe getting with his evangelical crowd wouldn't hurt either.

Circus moves here next week, I'm just thankful I now drive south on I95 instead of north to get to work :)

Kinda exciting.....but pretty much what we've been hearing all along. "I'm gonna fix it. I won't tell you how.....trust me."

Pulled up stakes and are now moving "the big top" to Philly. Onward to the next clown show.....

September should be much better.......looking forward to the 26th..... Let's see if the candidates can control themselves.....

The 'big top' has been taken down.....won't see it for another 4 years.

Other than day one with some boos the DNC was kinda boring if you were looking for some excitement. RNC gets the crown in that department if that's you were looking for. Clinton only has one child so if you were looking for 'family hour' the DNC was a big disappointment......they had to bring in some celebrities to fill the time. They even had to bring in some Republicans on the 4th night.....Doug Elmets and Jennifer Lim had to fill in a little bit of time.

I caught a little of Clinton's acceptance speech.....and went back to watching the Twilight Zone. Same promises that are hard to fulfill when the Senate and Congress are focused on other matters that pertain to party interests when they should be focused on government issues.

Debates should be interesting.....to say the least. I wonder if the candidates can keep their composure??

The debates are the last thing I'm looking forward to... also curious with CNN pushing Gary Johnson so hard if it can boost his numbers to get into the debates

Haven't noticed CNN pushing Johnson. I catch what my home page (msn) is running for headlines....and take it with a grain of salt.

I want to see what happens with the debates.....see if Trump can stay away from twitter long enough. Seems he has way too much time on his hands as his minions run business affairs.

Are there going to be any debates?? I've just now started following the candidates tweets......somewhat. I'm not so sure that DT isn't going to implode before then.

Just got another call from Donald......

I see two of the debates are on Monday night.......seems to be a conflict of schedule with the NFL. I'll watch.....if they actually happen.

It's getting worse by the day......actually, by the hour. We're not gonna make it to Sept 26......there will be no debates.

Maybe I'm watching the wrong news sources?? The GOP campaign is looking kinda sad but I guess it's what the people want......Trump did beat all of his opponents. What were there......16?? Quite a group.......wonder how he can do one-on-one?? Bullying is not gonna work.....gotta come up with some solid answers and solutions.
