Another dumb question from a "cell phone illiterate"...
With a cell phone that is locked to Verizon (or any other provider) can you use your home WIFI to connect to the Internet? I am looking to buy a used cell phone and just need to use it to connect to the Internet -- not make calls.

It should, but if not, you have the legal right to have it unlocked as long as the service contract bill is paid in full.

Yes you can..Technically, you can even use an Android device on WI-FI without SIM
