How do I get it so that I don't keep getting these obnoxious interferences on my phone when I'm trying to read something in public and another wifi network wants me to sign on to it?

Also, I'm trying to set up kids mode on my sons galaxy tab 3 lite to control how long he's on it and it won't download. It keeps telling me to try again later. What happens if I do a system reset. Will that erase apps he's downloaded?

When I'm in public or away from my typical WiFi access I just disable it entirely. I don't know of any applications that would do this automatically or silence the notifications.

If you system reset it'll go back to a like-new state, any changes will be lost. If yo don't me asking how old is your son? My daughter has a Nabi DreamTab which has limits as part of the base software.

So if you disable wifi you just have your data plan running?

My son is 10. I hate his tablet because I don't know how to operate it like a laptop. He is always sneaking in more time on it so I want a system on it that will shut it down after a certain amount of time that I set.

Will a system re-set delete downloaded apps?

If you're out and about you can disable wifi to get rid of open access point notices. If the tablet has a data plan it'll use that instead.

Depending on the OS you may be able to set profiles with restrictions.

A system reset will erase anything you done since first turning it on.

You might be able to use your router to set a time limit for the tablet, some ideas on it here https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=se..._KOIXeO43vicgB
