My Dad had a iPhone 5c that he got locked out of. The 5c had Verizon's Backup Assistant Plus which backed up his phone numbers every day. He now owns a Samsung J3. It doesn't have the Backup Assistant Plus on the phone, it uses Verizon's Cloud, which of course is empty because he's never used it.

I own a Samsung S4 which is rooted. I have extracted what I think is the APK file that is for BUA+. The file that I've extracted is ba-syncservice-app-signed.apk (426.3KB).

I have transferred this file to his phone and activated it. It says it installed itself, but I can't find an icon so I can use it. I tried again and this time it said it would look for an update and then installed. Yet I still have no way to access the program to retrieve the stored phone numbers.

Wondering if anyone can help me with this. Thanks.
