Yep. 'Twas ever thus.

I knew the deal I was making when I decided to use Gmail, and I don't regret having done so.

If privacy had been my primary concern I would have only been using paid e-mail service providers who place an emphasis on same.

Try zoho.com - I have used them for about 10 years. Free and no ads.
