As I am going to school to finish my BS in Information Technology, part of the courses are getting certified in the following
Web Designer Professional
I completed the A+, actually second time getting A+. Now comptia requires earned credits to maintain status after 3 years, which isn't too bad.
Will be completing my Sec+ this month, and Network + over the next 2 months, then onto a bunch of math and Linux!! By this time next year I should have everything from a certification stand point. Sooner I hope.
Actually I went to interview for a technical job, and they had a technical and hands on test, I past the hands on no problem, they threw some tricky ones in there like disabling the SATA ports, which stumped me, then configured the proxy with 127.0,0,0 address, among other things. The written test had questions about Sub netting and CIDR notation which I was surprised, which I had just got done learning in my networking class!! Passed that test only missing 2 out of 38!
So it does go to show you certifications do wonders for your career. These will be great additions to my ITIL Intermediate certs as well.
