I have 2 years of experience in Linux device driver developer and as a security engineer.
Here the LDD development mostly lead to bug fixing, testing and tuning the drivers as drivers are already provided by the vendors. And feel myself restricted to Linux kernel internals.
So I want to move as Security engineer ,cause as security engineer I will have lot more to explore and its more adventurous and exciting. But as I don't know any security engineers. I get very negative response from others.
As a security engg I will have to work on everything from app-kernel-hardware. And thus it is more exciting.
Which field is better in all future aspects??
