hello all!

I have a question from my windows server buddies out there.. I have worked with 2003 and 2008 for a couple of years and am moving jobs so want to gain an MCSA to have a better position at a new company.

My question is.. should I go for the 2008 exams or 2012? Not many companies are using 2012 yet so I didn't know if completing the 2008 MCSA/MCSE then just completing the upgrade exams to 2012 later down the line..

I am currently MCP, MCTS and MCITP in Windows XP and 7 but this is my first crack at certifying in the server stuff.

I have 4 weeks off work as of yesterday so I plan to smash at least the first 2 of either routes in that time so the sooner I can decide which route to go down the better!

My System

you certify in what you have experience in. So going for 2008 would be the smartest move then when you work with 2012 upgrade to that.
