Hi guys,

First I'm running on :

OS -Windows 7
x64
OEM version but purchased from retailer (weird I know)
Age of system : 1.5 year
Age of OS installation 1.5 years
CPU : Core Quad Q8400 2.66 GHz
Video Card : Ati Radeon hd 4870 1 Gb
MotherBoard : Asus P5qd
Power Supply : Corsair 550 Watts
RAM : Corsair 4gb XMS 2 (2x2Gb) 800 Mhz DDR2

Since I built my computer, i get once a day a Bsod often caused by ntoskrnl.exe. I tried everything : changing DRAM voltage, updating video/bios/everything drivers.
My DRAM is not guilty, I'm sure of it.

Can you help me ? I'm desperate...

Thanks in advance guys.

PS : impossible to get the perfmon /report (the report is not generated, googleing). I am checking the hard drive.

Hello,

The dumps point to an apparent hardware issue; however, I wonder if SPTD is causing that.

Uninstall Daemon Tools, and then remove SPTD with this tool: https://www.duplexsecure.com/download...t-v174-x64.exe

Also, run Prime95 - both the Blend and Small FFTs tests.

https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...t-prime95.html

Finally, enable driver verifier, if the BSODs persist.

...Summary of the dumps:

I see CPU/motherboard-related errors, that being BUSL0_SRC_ERR_M_NOTIMEOUT_ERR, which means that the L0 cache (memory on your CPU) took longer to access than it should've. This is not really something that can be caused by software. Again, verify that your motherboard and CPU are in good condition.

Thank you guys for responding so quickly,

The thing is : I already have Daemon Tools and SPTD unistalled...
I will run Prime 95 and FFTs Tests and I will tell you what comes up !
So it would really be an hardware issue...
I will also check the motherboard tomorrow (time to sleep in Europe ^^)

Thank you folks !

I want to mention something.

This kind of situation can be caused by poor handling of various low powered states for the CPU, such as when in hibernation, sleep, etc., as well as programs or bios settings that are designed to change the speed of cpu at certain usage demands (again, a change in states). You may want to check power options as well as any software or bios settings that are relevant to this.
