This is a computer I just built and I'm having serious issues. Crashed 4 times writing this post. But yea, here's all the info, if you need more just let me know. FYI this is the first time I'm using windows since '98 and I've been using Apple software :D So don't expect me to know how to do everything. I've got special_pool_corrupted_memory, special_pool_header, some without top thing and just have 0x000007 or 9 or 4 on the bottom, probably more but I can't remember all of them.
Thanks,
Pavel

OS - Windows 7 Ultimate
╖ x64
╖ What was original installed OS on system? Installed windows xp prof then did upgrade
╖ Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from retailer)? Upgrade to 7 from university
╖ Age of system (hardware) 4 days
╖ Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS? Reinstalled twice

╖ CPU --- AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor Model HDZ955FBGIBOX

╖ Video Card --- SAPPHIRE 100245HDMI Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express

╖ MotherBoard --- GIGABYTE GA-790XT-USB3 AM3 AMD 790X USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Hi.

gdrv.sys is causing problems, which seems to be part of EasyTune software.

Either update it or uninstall it and you should be fine. But you'll also need to uninstall AVG which is causing problems too. I recommend MSE as a replacement.

Visiting game.amd.com for an updated video driver would do well too.

Hi -

Nice job with the Driver Verifier.

The bugchecks on the 17 kernel memory dumps vary. Summary at end of post.

D/V flagged these drivers -
Code:

gdrv.sys     Thu Mar 12 23:22:29 2009 (49B9D175) - Gigabyte Easy Saver - mobo power utility driver
DrvAgent64.SYS Mon Dec 14 05:23:26 2009 (4B26121E) - FLEXnet Licensing Service 64 - Acresso Software Inc.
inspect.sys  Thu Apr 08 15:24:23 2010 (4BBE2D67) - COMODO
atdcm64a.sys Thu Aug 13 21:14:56 2009 (4A84BA90) - ATI DSM Dynamic Driver
Gigabyte driver download --> https://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/M...iver_List.aspx

COMODO must be removed. Upon completion, re-boot. Install MSE.

MSE --> https://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

The other drivers/ apps they belong to must be updated or uninstalled.

One of the bugchecks = 0x24 = NTFS file system. Run chkdsk /r

I looked and I can't find easytune installed anywhere, I found easysaver though but according to Gigabyte it doesn't seem like the same thing. I found the .sys file in c:/windows thought. Can I just delete it and make everything go away?
Thanks,
pavel

Thank you jcgriff,
Did all that and it seems to be fine now. If anything else happens I'll let you know. And I was using comodo for the firewall, is the windows default firewall sufficient?
Thank you,
Pavel

Agreed.

MSE uses the Windows Firewall, has anti-virus, anti-spyware, etc...

I myself use nothing but the Windows Firewall on all systems. No trouble under Vista or Windows 7 to date.
