My much loved Thinkpad t60p has been very reliable and responsive once I installed Windows 7 early last year. However, over the past couple days, I can't restart or shutdown without a BSOD and am at a loss for the cause.

any advice or help would be very appreciated.

As per Jcgriff2's instructions, I have attached a system health report and dump data.

Please uninstall your anti-virus software than before reinstall anti-virus go to setup file right click properties then select compability mode Vista service pack
2 and select run as an administrator. Start installation
3rd party software does all the time like that.software's working on win7 OS with Vista SP2. I had same issue 2 month ago and now it's working nice.

Boot to safe mode.

Shut down. Does the problem re-occur?

Hi -

All 8 BSODs name Lenovo Think Vantage active protection driver -
Code:

Apsx86.sys Sun Jun 13 22:38:32 2010 (4C159628)
Create a system restore point -
START | type create | "create a system restore point"

Uninstall Lenovo Think Vantage active protection

If BSODs persist, run the Driver Verifier -- Driver Verifier - sysnative.com
