Hello, I recently build this PC and it works fine for the most part, but sometimes (twice so far) I got a weird screen freeze while playing games, that I cant figure out myself.

I build this PC 4 days ago, so not sure what to make of it.

When the freeze happens, it is a certain color, with stripes from top to bottom.

I checked the log, and it gave this error message:

Logboeknaam: System
Bron: Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power
Datum: 17-2-2010 18:47:03
Taakcategorie: (63)
Niveau: Kritiek
Trefwoorden: (2)
Gebruiker: SYSTEM
Computer: Valerium-PC
Het systeem is opnieuw opgestart zonder eerst correct te worden afgesloten. Deze fout is mogelijk veroorzaakt doordat het systeem niet meer reageert of is vastgelopen of doordat de stroom is uitgevallen.

Mind you, this is in dutch, but the message itself translates into:

"The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."

My hardware is:

PSU: Corsair HW850
Case: Coolermaster Storm Sniper
CPU: Intel I7 860
GPU: XFX Radeon HD5870
Ram: 4GB OCZ Platinum cl7 low voltage
OS: Windows 7 64 bit home premium
Mobo: MSI P55-GD65
Sound: G35 USB headset
HD: Samsung SpinPoint F3 1000gb SATA

Case cooling shouldnt be the issue, Speedfan shows everything is well within range. Besides, it happend in one game, red faction guerilla within 5 minutes, so that just further proves it has nothing to do with cooling.

I read on other forums it has something to do with conflicting sound drivers, maybe that could be it.

Please let me know.
