OS: Windows 7 64 bit (Happened with XPPRO64 aswell)
PSU: Coolmax 700w
Processor: Pentium D 3.6 2x (model number SL9AP)
Motherboard: Biostar TP45E Combo
VGA: GTX 460 SE
HD: WesDig CaviarGreen 1.5tb
RAM: 4g ddr3 corsair
Since the problem has occured i've replaced the motherboard, ram, and video card.
Note: The SL9AP processor says it matches any 775 socket. But biostars tp54e motherboard doesnt list SL9AP as supported- would the computer be able to even powerup if this was an issue?
ALSO, my computers powerup process is questionably long, it will take about 10 seconds to bring me to the "Tseries" motherboard screen after powerup(this is without CD drive plugged in). If i plug the cd drive in it will take 15-30 seconds before mobo screen, could this point to power supply? This is not an issue that occurred at first(when the freezing started) and my guess is its from a deteriorating psu.
In event viewer at every instance of the crash, it will report 2 errors and 1 critical; EventLog ID:6008, Kernel-Power ID:41, EventLog ID:1101 (probably too broad of errors but im doing what i can to make myself useful)
