Sorry lad, but it is pointing the blame at your network drivers. I'm also seeing that it hasn't changed date for the drivers for any of the crashes (all Nov 26, 2009). If you have any newer crashes after the new driver update than we'll need those as well, otherwise unless all these crashes (all dated today) are from after the update (which is odd seeing it's 2009), then it may be that the new drivers haven't been successfully installed.

Agree - your TP-LINK Wireless N Adapter driver needs to be updated - 2009 too old. The driver written by Atheros -
Code:
arusb_win7x.sys Thu Nov 26 03:55:17 2009 (4B0E4275)
Wireless - Download - Support - Welcome to TP-LINK

Old versions AVG and Avast installed. Remove both using removal tools - https://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN146

Reboot after each removal. Install MSE - https://www.microsoft.com/security/pc-security/mse.aspx

I would also highly suggest that you remove Daemon Tools/ Alcohol 120 -
Code:
sptd.sys Sun Oct 11 16:55:14 2009 (4AD24632)

The driver doesn't seem like it's updated, as it's still dated Nov 26, 2009. How are you installing the driver? You may need to uninstall the drivers first prior to updating them (or just delete arusb_win7x.sys and reinstall the driver).

It may be that the driver package itself does not have an update for this driver, in which case you will need to contact T-Link to tell them that their driver is crashing your system and for some reason arusb_win7x.sys is not updating itself. You might also want to consider purchasing a new wireless NIC from another, more reputable company, should none of this get resolved.

i just uninstall it and reinstall from the newest updated driver i found in TP LINK website. however after i checked, i still found arusb_win7x.sys in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\arusb_win7x.inf_amd64_neutral_2ea01826ef85e887 is still dated Nov 26, 2009.

i've tried to delete manually but it keep saying i need permission from SYSTEM to change it, i went to save stave with cmd and try to delete it from dos, still did not work. any suggestion?

That's a repository in case you need to downgrade a driver or as a backup driver in case the current existing one is not functioning properly or missing. Check for any other copy of arusb_win7x.sys. They should exist under your drivers or system32 folders. The one you mentioned should not be the only existing copy. If it is then we got a strange predicament going.

ok, i searched in windows folder and found 4 arusb_win7x.sys. 3 of them dated June 1, 2010 and only 1 date Nov 26, 2009. and arusb_win7x.sys i found from the newest driver also dated June 1, 2010. (and still my desktop randomly restarting).

i guess i need to change my wireless adapter, any suggestion which brand i should buy? or i just go with T-Link but the one with PCI (cause this one is USB wireless).

but im still curious about these arusb_win7.sys thingy, could you give me any advice before i buy the new one

I'm hesitant on recommending you purchase an item when I'm not entirely sure it's the hardware itself or even the drivers posing an issue. It may be something conflicting with those drivers continuously.

After perusing further on this, I found out you have both AVG and Avast running simultaneously. This is never ever a good idea. Having more than one AV program running always causes instability. You should uninstall one of them and have only one AV program running at any time. You may use others ones in the future to scan for added cleaning power if you fear an infection later on, but again never at the same time.

Other things of note:

- There's a "Gigabyte Energy Saver" listed in your current running services. Probably wanna get rid of it (uninstall). The Gigabyte Easy Tune thing can also be an issue.
- You have a few browser toolbars (Yahoo, AVG, etc.) installed, which are known for causing instability (probably not the cause of your condition, but still beneficial to kill em).
- I'm not sure what "CurseClientStartup.ccip" is but it's listed under your Programs menu in the startup folder. Perhaps eliminate it if necessary? You can just by deleting it from the startup folder in your Programs menu list in your Start menu.

I will have to continue to look further into this. Follow any recommendations already and report back.

If for whatever reason you feel it's worth saving time on and just buying another item, Dlink, Netgear, Cisco, Linksys, any quality network brandname is worthwhile. Perhaps do a lookup for one under Newegg and sort by rating.

That is strange, i did remove those two, and got the removal tools from here Uninstallers (removal tools) for common antivirus software - ESET Knowledgebase as jcgriff2 suggested, and i also installed MSE, but i uninstall them again just now. also i got rid of the toolbars, and curse client.

so far nothing goes wrong, but i'll post if something happen.
Thank you, and sorry to keep bothering you with this :D

Problem solved, i've been playing it more than 5 hours and there is no BSOD or random restart.
what i did last time just uninstall (for the second time, just making sure they're gone) my two anti viruses and manually replace the arusb_win7x.sys (to 1 June, 2010).

so far so good, i hope. and i attach the new zip file, because i just curious which file/ driver that causing random BSOD.

Thank you so much for the help, much appreciate.

Hi -

Glad to hear of BSOD-free status so far. Nice work finding the updated driver.

The very last BSOD occurred 5.1 hours after boot up and is inconclusive as it named no 3rd party driver. One possibility is sptd.sys - Daemon/ Alcohol.

Regards. . .

I don't seen any recent crashdump (latest is from the 15th). To add, I'm seeing unexpected restarts occurring within the event log, but only some of them appear caused by bsods (in which KiBugCheckEx pops in and does cleanup and crashdump creation prior to restarting). Check to see if you have it set to automatic restart on bugcheck by going to System Properties in start menu (type it in), then Advanced System Settings, then Startup and Recovery under the Advanced tab. Automatic Restart should not be checked. If it is, uncheck it and save changes. Also make sure "write event to system log" is checked. Next time you crash you should get a bluescreen.

If you do not get a bluescreen and it automatically restarts regardless, then it means that your PC is shutting itself down automatically without Windows causing it. This can be one of a few things:

1. Your CPU is overheating and the motherboard temp safety mechanism triggered.
2. Your mobo is bugging out (which could explain the network problems if you're using an onboard network connection).
3. Your PSU is bugging out.
4. Malware is forcing your PC to restart (uncommon).

Oh, I just wanna note as well that I see errors regarding corruption to the Shadow Copy volume. You may wanna run scandisk on all your drives, as well as temporarily disable the Volume Shadow Copy service for the time being. You can do so by typing Services in Start Menu, then locate it, right click then Properties, then set startup mode to disable and then stop it.

i already unchecked the Automatic Restart, and checked "write event to system log" when my friend asked me. but the problem is, sometimes i got BSOD, usually when im browsing, but when im playing online game it's always automatically restart.

I'm using a USB wireless adapter, not an onboard net connection, is it still possible to cause mobo bugging? and im using CPUID Hardware Monitor for monitoring my CPU, is it ok, or i should download other software that performs better?

I'm sorry to keep asking lots of questions, but i want to know what happens with my desktop, as it's only 5 month old.

I'm not entirely sure about the bsod behavior you're describing. When you mention "random BSOD" are you referring to it occurring randomly at any time the PC is running, or a random time when you're playing an online game? Your first post mentioned that you were only bsoding when playing games, specifically online ones. You sound as if you're saying it's now a bsod that can pop up at any time. Is this correct?

If it's possible, you should try wiring a connection from your PC to your router using your onboard NIC, and then remove the wireless dongle and uninstall if necessary. See if your stability problems are resolved then. If not, you found the issue. If you think it's cheaper and/or easier to just go and grab a new wireless item as opposed to diagnosing in this manner, then go ahead.

However, there's something very strange about anything USB that's causing your PC to spontaneously restart. Only things I can come up with is that either you got a bad PSU and the wireless dongle is the straw that breaks the camel's back, or some weird occurrence of your wireless dongle shorting things out.

at first it is only random restart when playing games, I thought it was because my GPU was overheat and force the system to restart, then I installed MSI afterburner to save the GPU temp. but the result my GPU is at normal temp.

after a while i realised that it's only happens when im playing online game, so i thought it was because my Wireless Adapter, so i uncheked the automatic restart, also i made my system won't turn off my Wireless adapter if it in sleep mode, cause sometimes i leave my desktop on for downloading. and that is when the BSOD keep appears.

after i update the arusb_win7x.sys the bsod stop appears but the desktop still have random restart when I'm playing online games. so that's why i still thinking it's because of BSOD, but i think i am totally wrong now.

i will try to wiring a connection to my desktop, i hope it will solve the problem, cause i cannot afford to buy a new PSU. Many Thanks.

You may not need a new psu, just a new wireless nic or dongle. The wired connection is to determine if it's the case of the wireless dongle you're using messin' up. Again, make sure to remove the dongle and perchance uninstall it so that the drivers don't rear their ugly head for whatever reason when you're running wired.
