Ive had three or four of these crashes in the past day, i managed to pick up "kernel data inpage error" off the blue screen before windows restarted.

I also got this:
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.0.6002.
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 7a
BCP1: C05675C8
BCP2: C0000185
BCP3: 2ECA98C0
OS Version: 6_0_6002
Service Pack: 2_0
Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:

before loggin into windows ive been getting a "failure predicted on hard disc two" prompt but have been ignoring it for teh most part until now.

Im wondering if there is anything i can do to fix this or is it pretty much doomed, Thanks for any help!

Hi -

KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR = bugcheck 0x7a ("BCCode" above).

Also listed is exception code 0xc0000185 = STATUS_IO_DEVICE_ERROR.

The BSOD is listing an I/O error with your HDD as the probable cause.

Assuming you have an HDD and not an SSD. . .

Run chkdsk /r

Run HDD diags - SeaTools for DOS, LONG test - https://www.techsupportforum.com/2828431-post7.html

Regards. . .
