Hi all,

I hadn't used this laptop for a long while and I've been getting multiple BSOD since I've turned it back on.
I suspect it's the ports drivers causing this when I connect a 2nd monitor, a external HD or just a keyboard, but I don't know what to do.
Also, I get BSOD when I try to wake it up again after it's gone to sleep.
Hope someone will be able to help

Thanks in advance.

Hi. . .

Update your Synaptics driver -
Code:
SynTP.sys Tue Sep 09 22:41:08 2014 (540FBA44)

https://www.sysnative.com/drivers/driver.php?id=SynTP.sys

Also update your USB 3.0 drivers -
Code:
iusb3xhc.sys Tue Mar 28 09:43:28 2017 (58DA6880)
https://www.sysnative.com/drivers/dr...d=iusb3xhc.sys

4 dumps total; 2 dumps named Synaptics; 2 named USB 3.0 drivers.

Regards. . .

I don't understand because when I try to update it tells me that I already have the latest drivers.
Am I supposed to uninstall the drivers before re-installing them?
So I uninstalled the Synaptics driver but when I tried to install the earlier version I downloaded from Lenovo, I got a "Synaptics device not found" alert.

What am I doing wrong?

Seems like it doesn’t have the Synaptics device it’s trying to install.

You may have to do a factory reset . Have windows backup your files on a flash drive 64GB+ is your best bet (unless you have them somewhere else or don’t mind losing them) if that doesn’t solve it it may be something else (a connector on the inside for the ports or the board it’s self etc.)

Console NAT issues due to gateway and router setup
I've always had issues with my NAT when it comes to game consoles, and I've just recently come across some info that the fact I use a gateway along with a router means that my connection passes through two NAT firewalls, causing issues with my game consoles.
