Been having this problem since I installed XCOM Enemy Unknown. Didn't have a System Restore, and it's been causing all sorts of problems.

I've tried everything to debug this myself, flashing the BIOS, updating all drivers that I could think of, and just doing anything possible on my own, but I can't seem to figure it out. After two days, I really need some expert help.

Hi -

Remove Elby & any other virtual devices for now.

Get rid of McAfee - use removal tool.

https://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN146

Reboot upon completion. Install Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE)

Run memtest86+ - https://www.techsupportforum.com/2863029-post5.html

Run HDD diags - https://www.sysnative.com/forums/show...D)-Diagnostics

ntfs.sys with bugcheck 0x24 is mentioned. This relates to HDD. If you have an SSD, check for firmware upgrade.

Regards. . .

Yeah, I thought it might be the my hard drive too, just wanted to make sure. Problem is, the SSD is the primary drive. Any suggestions for updating the SSD firmware without wiping the whole thing?

You should be able to upgrade the firmware w/o wiping it.

Many others have done so.

Check SSD manufacturer's support site.

Just tried to run Seatools and it won't recognize my drives.

On the OCZ site, it says I can't update the firmware that Windows is on.

Quick update, I just finished updating the SSD firmware, but Seatools still doesn't recognize either hard drives.

Forget about Seatools - it is not for SSDs.

Apologies on that.

See if BSODs persist now that firmware upgrade in place.

Over 8000 errors within the first 2 seconds on one of the sticks. Guess I'll have to replace the pair of RAM?
