Long story short: Installed virus (obviously didn't know it was), removed virus, it had time to corrupt thousands of files. No file has been removed, but each file has an added ".djvur" at the end (for example "image.jpg.djvur") and if I remove it it only returns a corrupt file. Again, this has affected thousands of files, from important documents to some program files causing them to not open.

Reverting system to the only point available didn't go through. Through ShadowExplorer I've found the files without the ".djvur" but when exported I get the same corrupt files.

I assume it's maybe some sort of CTB locker, but the steps to revert files doesn't work for me, and MalwareBytes isn't finding anything else.

I have both files and programs I cannot replace, so I really need to fix the files affected. Thanks in advance

Hello , CalamitousChris..! Тhis is new variant of STOP-Djvu Ransomware .
Unfortunately, it is assumed that there is not yet a free decriptor. That does not mean we advise users to pay the ransom. Discuss the whole story of this ransomware infections:

Of course you can also use ID Ransomware (IDR) for assistance with identification and confirmation of the infection:
