Hello, I have been searching for help all over the internet for a while and cant quite find out what is wrong with my mouse & keyboard.

My mouse is plugged into the USB port and my keyboard is in the keyboard port.

Problem:
Every other 30 seconds my mouse will start to move really laggy and my keyboard doesnt register till around 4 seconds while my mouse is lagging.

This problem doesn't occur while my modem is unplugged, my mouse and keyboard run perfectly with no internet connection.

Please help.

Is this a broadband USB modem? Can it also connect via ethernet?

The plug under the usb plug on your modem is an Ethernet plug. See if you have one of these on the back of your computer.

Another possibility is a conflict between the hardware. Check device manager to see if it shows any signs.
