Hi I have a acer predator Helios 2018 version
Specifications are i5 8300H, 1060 GTX ,16 Gb ram 256 MB ssd and 1 TB HDD
My thermal were not great while gamming so I repasted it.
When I started my laptop after repasting it gave me a Watchdog Violation error so I tried to fix it but nothing worked. Then I reinstalled my windows 10 and then I got through to desktop but when I ran games and other software they crashed and my GPU always remain idle after few restart I got the same blue screen watchdog violation error again. Can anyone suggest something is my GPU and harddrive both dead??

OS: Windows10. In the past CP/M, DOS, Windows 95, 2000, 98SE, ME, Vista & Windows 7

My System

See if SATA AHCI Controller needs a driver update. I would also suspect improper seating of CPU. Hope you didn't use too much or too little paste.

X0116 or 117 error?
That would be video does your heat sink have a pipe that connects the CPU and the GPU?
Did redo the thermal Pad/paste on the GPU?

That does not appear to be video related, not sure what redoing the thermal paste would cause that.
Try checking all your connections.
