I originally started a thread in microsoft support not knowing what was going on, I still do not.

hee is the original
Last night when doodling on the internet, specifically chatting with some friends, my computer stopped. I have two monitors, one went black/blank no error message and the other appeared as colored 'snow'. I rebooted the computer, got a good post, one beep, and things were fine up to the Microsoft logo and the starting Windows message. Then nothing happened. I repeated this process three times, the third time I left it for 8 hours while I sleep. I woke up and it was still black with no error message. I can start the system in safe mode, I can see pictures and all that in safe mode even with networking but cannot completely run in normal mode. I did a repair, a restore from safe mode but nothing worked. I'm not sure if this is in fact hardware such as my hard drive, my gpu or just needs a clean Windows install.
Any advice please?

Windows Update acting weird!
I don't think this is a problem, more of a curiosity, hence posting here. If it turns out that it is a problem, I'll get someone to move it to the appropriate forum. Got a notification earlier that new updates are available. As you will see from the pics, "4 important updates available" but only...

Blue screen and slowdowns.
My laptop just crashes randomly when I'm using it. It's frustrating, and it costs me a lot of time. When it's booting my keyboard becomes unresponsive so I have to wait for the countdown to run out (can't just hit enter into boot normally). Sorry for requesting help as this is my first post, but...
