Hello all, I just set up the speaker/sound card set up in my sig on my AMD rig. After I installed the card I plugged in my old 2.1's real quick just to see if I could hear a difference and to tell you the truth I think they sounded better with the on-board card. This has me wondering if the 5.1's would sound better with the on board audio as well. It does have an input for front, rear, and sub but with the sound card installed only the sound card will produce sound, nothing's coming out of the on-board now. Can I switch this without having to rip the case open and take that card out? It's a $34 card by the way, I should have bought a better one. Live and learn. Thanks in advance.

No way that I know of you should remove the card and its drivers.
