There's 100 different people with the same problem, however, I have tried installing (and unistalling) just about every driver there is, and I can't get it to recognize it.
Its a Razer Blade R2, I believe, and I got it passed down by my brother so there's no warrenty left on it. I've done an entire reinstall of Windows, too. And it loaded up the same.

Does anyone know how I can get it to recognize the sound card? If it's a physical problem, how can I tell? Thanks

Hi and Welcome to TSF!

Did it work previously in your last Windows OS?

Does Device Manager ever show the sound card? Are you using Windows 10 drivers from Razer?

What exactly is happening? There is a difference between Windows not seeing the hardware (ie: hardware is not listed in Device Manager, which typically means the hardware is faulty) and the hardware not working because the drivers aren't installing (ie: card is listed in Device Manager, usually with an error such as a yellow !).

Does Razer offer Win10 drivers for that hardware?

You can try using Win8 drivers, but those don't always work. So you may need to wait for a Win10 driver to be released.
