Hi everyone,

I have a toshiba satellite P70A with a Conexant SmartAudio HD card and am running on windows 8.1. Anyt time I try to play media (video, mp3,youtube video etc) as soon as the media begins to play the sound immediately increases dramatically if the speaker level was less than 50% before playing it, or decreases to 0% if it was above 50%. I can't for the life of me figure out how to fix this or disable it Any help would be awesome!

Have you tried updating/reinstalling the audio drivers?

If you are using a keyboard with media controls, you may want to test using a different keyboard.

I looked in the device mangers as to see if something was wrong with the drivers and well, everything was fine, no cautionary signs. Also I had windows diagnosis it and it said there was a driver issue, which got...
