It's Condenser Microphone Mic BM700 Sound Speech Studio Recording Shock Mount. That's the best information I can give. The microphone is apparently manufactured from Chinese company and there isn't seem to be any other information.

Does anything show up under the recording tab or the sound configuration menu?

Also, have you tried a different USB port?

What makes you think it is showing as a speaker?
A Microphone is also a sound device.
Are you plugging the Microphone into the correct port for it to work, as well as connecting the USB power for it?
