Cry

So I had an issue recently and for some reason I can't hear audio very well from my headset. I've tried my headset on other things like my phone and xbox but on my PC it's very quiet yet my computer says the volume is fine and at it's loudest. Anyone know whats going on?

Hi and Welcome to TSF!

Are other headsets quiet too?

Right click on the Speaker icon in the bottom right, Properties > Communication Tab > Select Do Nothing.

I have allready put it to that and i have tried others and it didnt seem to make a diffrence.

Are other headsets that you own also quiet?

Check the sound driver and reinstall if need be.

It's a custom build. but i've had it for around 2 years and this is the first time i've had a problem.

Okay, then make and model number of the hardware inside the PC? Make and model number of the headset?

Are you using the headphone jacks on the case or motherboard?

Sorry i've been a little busy, I can't find the model number on my PC, I use aTriton headset and i use the headphone jack on the case that is connected to the mother board.

Try using the headphone jacks that are directly on the motherboard.

Are you using any custom sound software on the system?
