Hi

A while back i started having problems with the sound quality when i play CD's and DVD's in Drive E on my PC. the sound cuts in and out as if it were skipping.

any ideas on what may be wrong and how to fix it?

My System


How is the drive connected? Is it on a separate IDE cable, or the end or middle of a cable with another device attached? Do you have DMA enabled?
