Hello,
I currently got a Logitech G35 headset, but it is kind of broken, so Im going to buy a new headset.. I love the 7.1 surround sound in the G35 for games like CS:GO.

I was wondering if getting a new headset, lets say Sennheiser G4ME ONE, which does not come with surround sound, would be able to make surround sound? I mean, my motherboard is ASUS Maximus Vii Formula, and it says it can make 7.1 surround sound. I have not used this on my G35s.
Would it work to buy Sennheiser G4ME ONE and use this software, or something similar like Razer Surround to get 7.1 surround sound to use in shooter games? And would it be as good as the in-built surround sound in the G35?

If you want surround audio, then get a headset which supports surround audio.

The motherboard chipset, outputs surround audio through the analog surround outputs. It doesn't output surround sound on the stereo port.

Getting Surround Sound on Burned DVDs
I download movies via torrents and burn them to DVDs using DVD Flick. In the audio setup on DVD Flick you can either select "Auto" or "5.1 Surround" and I usually select Auto. My reasoning is that if the movie I downloaded provides for surround sound, the auto setting will capture it, and if...
