Using wired connection from router into xbox, with netgear. But have massive lag?
i start playing at 730pm and the connection is dreadful on all games.. Ranging from a 1 bar to 4 bar every 10 seconds. This is directly wired to the router, with a NAT open, and with nobody else using the internet. Not sure what to do anymore but want to play tonight. This suddenly came on since friday, and have had no previous problems with netgear before.
Please Help, Ethan

Hi and welcome to TSF!
Let's see if the problem could be not enough bandwidth on your network. Do a bandwidth test of your connection by going to Pcpitstop. Try both upload and download connections. Also, try a regular connection speedtest by going to Speedtest.net.

Using a wireless router "after" a DSL modem and "before" a wired router.
I'm wondering if this configuration is possible? I have a wired network at work and would like to add wireless capability so the owners here can connect with their mobile devices. The ultimate goal is to have WiFi for company only and not for customers (invisible network). I read about making my...

NAT Issues - XBox and PS3
Hi All, One of the most common questions regarding Xbox Live and the 360/Original Xbox relates to NAT, people either have a strict or moderate NAT setting which doesn't make for the best playing experience, or they have Open but have "over configured" their router meaning it still doesn't work...
