windows vista reboot loop

Hi
my e-machine laptop is stuck in an infinite reboot.. its not because of the windows vista sp1 update thing ive read about.
i was clearing away some malware id somehow picked up on a download, upon rebooting i got the missing ntdlr message so i think i fixed that, rebooted again and now is stuck in a never ending reboot loop..
its been driving me mad and for the life of me cant work out what it is, any help from anyone out there would be greatly appreciated

How did you get that, nltdr is for XP, unless you have a duel-boot. If so, are you able to boot into any OS?

Also, do you have any of the installation disks or recovery disks?
