When i install my nvidia driver in Windows 7, after reboot it comes onto windows 7. After i have logged in its either freezes on 'welcome' or freezes on desktop if im lucky to get that far. When I uninstall the nvidia driver it stops freezing.

Have you tried getting the latest drivers from your cards' manufacturers' website?

Do you have another video card you can try? It's possible that there's a problem with that card.
